Usually over Superbowl weekend, the big movie studios bring us their big game spots for their big movies. According to rumours, Warner Bros. may be skipping the event this year. Normally, we would expect to see spots for Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire and more. Apparently not. But in the way of compensation, the studio has released an extended preview of the upcoming science-fiction sequel, Dune Part Two.
Timothée Chalamet is leading an ensemble cast which includes Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Dave Bautista, Christopher Walken, Léa Seydoux, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem. Director Denis Villeneuve brings the second half of the classic Frank Herbert novel to the screen on March 1st. Let’s take an extended look at what we can expect.
THE PREMISE
Paul Atreides continues his journey, united with Chani and the Fremen, as he seeks revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family, and endeavors to prevent a terrible future that only he can predict.
Dune Part Two will blow in from the desert of Arrakis on March 1st.
