Idris Elba returns to voice Knuckles The Echidna in Paramount+s limited series. Watch the trailer.
Knuckles is back. The lovable Echidna, voiced by Idris Elba is returning in his own miniseries this April. Entitled simply Knuckles, the series is set between the events of Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and the upcoming Sonic The Hedgehog 3 movies. Also returning for the mini-series is Adam Pally as Wade Whipple, the dimwitted deputy sheriff of Green Hills. Making guest appearances during the show are Ben Schwartz as Sonic the Hedgehog and Colleen O’Shaughnessey as Tails.
The show also features Cary Elwes, Edi Patterson, Stockard Channing, Julian Barratt, Scott Mescudi, and Ellie Taylor. Joining them are Rory McCann, Tika Sumpter, and the legendary Christopher Lloyd as Pachacamac, An older echidna. The trailer for the show has been released.

PREMISE
Taking place between the events of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog 3, the series follows Knuckles the Echidna as he trains Deputy Sheriff Wade Whipple in the ways of the Echidna warrior.
All six episodes of Knuckles will premiere on April 26, 2024, exclusively on Paramount+.
