The movie, written and directed by John Krasinski opens on May 17th. Ryan Reynolds toplines the film as The Man Upstairs. He is the neighbor of a child, Bea, a young girl who can see imaginary friends played by Cailey Fleming. Krasinski also stars in the film alongside Fiona Shaw, Alan Kim, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Bobby Moynihan.
The vocal cast for the film includes Steve Carell, Phoebe Waller-Bridge as Blossom, Louis Gossett Jr., Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Maya Rudolph, Jon Stewart,
Sam Rockwell, Sebastian Maniscalco, Christopher Meloni, Richard Jenkins, Awkwafina, and Vince Vaughn. The Superbowl big game spots have been revealed.
PREMISE
A young girl named Bea gains the ability to see people’s imaginary friends, referred to as “IFs” for short, who have been abandoned by the kids they helped. Bea then discovers that her neighbor, The Man Upstairs, has the same ability.
