Are you ready to ride the storm again? 1996 saw the release of Twister, a disaster film directed by Jan de Bont and starring Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton. The film was a box office success, earning $495.7 Million. Now, 27 years later, a standalone sequel to the film is heading our way. Twisters is directed by Lee Isaac Chung from a screenplay by Mark L. Smith.
None of the original cast will be returning for this standalone film. Instead, the film stars Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell, Anthony Ramos, Brandon Perea, Daryl McCormack, Maura Tierney, Harry Hadden-Paton, Sasha Lane, Kiernan Shipka, Nik Dodani, David Corenswet, Tunde Adebimpe, and Katy O’Brian. The first trailer for the film has blown in.
