Hot Toys unveils a new Kamen Rider figure!

Last year, Hot Toys had announced they had acquired the license for Kamen Rider Black Sun figures. They had given a fast release to Black Sun and Shadowmoon in Japan. For this new figure, they are doing the same. This time, we are getting a battle damaged version of Black Sun. It is an exclusive figure that is set to release at Toy Sapiens in Japan on February 23. It is also set to release in other selected markets at a later date. There are only 1,000 pieces that will be sold.

It is an era of chaos, half a century after the government announced the coexistence of humans and kaijins. A young human rights activist calling for the elimination of discrimination, meets a man named Kotaro Minami, a.k.a Kamen Rider Black Sun is one of the candidates for the next Creation King. He and his stepbrother become bitter rivals and continually battle vying to be the most powerful. ⁠

Hot Toys is delighted to be expanding its Kamen Rider BLACK SUN collection today and officially presenting the Battle Damaged Version of 1/6th scale Kamen Rider BLACK SUN Collectible Figure inspired by the live-action series! This alternate version adds an extra layer of authenticity, reflecting the character’s intense battles and heroic struggles. This is a Hot Toys Exclusive item available with limited quantity of 1,000 pieces only in selected markets.

The one-sixth scale figure of Kaman Rider Black Sun (Battle Damaged Version) includes a masked head with interchangeable face sculpts for alternate expressions, LED light-up eyes, and a highly-poseable body for his iconic poses. BLACK SUN’s biological themed outfit is faithfully recreated, including intricate textures that showcase scuffs and scratches, adding a battle-worn realism. The figure also features luminous reflective patterns that brings attention to specific areas of the suit. It comes with attacking effect accessories, sword, hilt, interchangeable hands, and a battlefield themed diorama that contributes to the storytelling.
