America is at war with itself and Washington DC becomes the battleground in the trailer for Alex Garland’s CIVIL WAR
The land of the free is about to implode in Alex Garland’s CIVIL WAR. After the previous trailer left us aghast, A24 has gone above and beyond to tease us with images from the upcoming thriller. And today, the studio has dropped an all-new trailer that takes America’s worst nightmare and makes it a reality.

Starring Kirsten Dunst, Wagner Moura, Stephen McKinley Henderson, and Cailee Spaeny, this action film takes place in the near future. In a time where the fragmented states of the country have erupted in a confrontation to end all confrontations. In this trailer, Washington DC becomes a fierce battleground as the warring parties attempt to claim victory. But in this conflict, the cost may be too high for the nation to overcome. But before the mushroom cloud settles, check out the trailer below.
SYNOPSIS
“set at an indeterminate point in the future – just far enough ahead for me to add a conceit – and serves as a sci-fi allegory for our currently polarised predicament”
The film looks to be a great action film that will also make us think. It could also, theoretically, one day become a frightening reality. As if the trailer isn’t enough to have us drawing battle lines in the sand, the studio also dropped an all-new poster for the film. Check it out below.
