It’s back to bascics with a rejuvenated hero in Dragon Ball GT, now available on Crunchyroll!
In February, Crunchyroll announced the arrival of the Dragon Ball saga to its growing catalogue in the United Kingdom and France. This includes five TV series and over 800 episodes. Earlier this month, Dragon Ball Z arrived in the UK. Starting today, fans can revisit the classic series Dragon Ball GT. Both subtitles and dubbed versions are available. The series is composed of 64 episodes.
Then, Dragon Ball Z Kai (167 episodes) will arrive on 29th March, completing the release of the saga in the UK.

The Dragon Ball phenomenon began in 1984, when Akira Toriyama’s famous manga was first published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. It swiftly became a leading title during its ten and a half years of publication. Since then, the manga’s success has gone from strength to strength, with an incredible 260 million copies sold worldwide. With Dragon Ball‘s ever-growing popularity, the series has expanded beyond manga to include animated series, films, games and merchandising. Produced by Toei Animation, the animated series began airing in 1986 and has since aired around the world.
Today, almost 40 years after the launch of the original manga, Dragon Ball continues to evolve ever further.
Broadcast in Japan from February 1996 to November 1997, Dragon Ball GT is the direct sequel to Dragon Ball Z, but this new story is not adapted from the original manga. This anime story takes place in the same universe and the author Akira Toriyama is involved in the main characters, mechanical designs, image cuts, and created the title.
