Marvel Animation's X-Men '97 | 'Fighting The Sentinels' (Official Clip)

The X-Men return to fight their old enemies, the Sentinels, in a fresh clip from Marvel Animation’s X-Men ’97.

We are just a few days away from the two-episode premiere of X-Men ’97. The promotional campaign for the show has ramped up in the past few days, with new character posters, teasers, and featurettes being released. Today, Disney+ has taken it up a notch by sharing the very first clip from the series.

In this video clip, the X-Men face their former foes, the Sentinels, face to face. Despite the passage of time, there’s still animosity between them. However, the X-Men are determined to defeat the metal monsters for good. As expected, Wolverine pulls out his claws and charges forward, with Cal Dodd’s vocals and the iconic theme accompanying the action. Watch the clip below.

Moreover, some of them will voice new characters who will be joining the X-Men team.

CREATIVES

Beau DeMayo is the head writer and executive producer of X-Men ’97. Jake Castorena and Charley Feldman are supervising directors and producers. X-Men: The Animated Series producers and showrunners Eric and Julia Lewald and original series director Larry Houston are also consulting on the new series.

Having Cal Dodd back to voice Wolverine is enough for me to reach for my adamantium claws! And with the series picking up where the original left off, legacy fans are in for a real treat. Get ready to hum the iconic theme, warm up the “previously on X-Men” intro, this will be epic!

X-MEN ’97 launches on Disney+ with a two-episode premiere on March 20th.
