The second part of Zack Snyder’s proposed trilogy will premiere on Netflix on April 19th. Are you ready for Rebel Moon Part Two: The Scargiver?
Ahead of the planned release of the R-rated cut of Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon Part One: A Child Of Fire in mid-2024, we will get to see the second part of the proposed trilogy. Rebel Moon Part Two: The Scargiver will release on Netflix on April 19th. The film once again stars Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, Ed Skrein, and Michiel Huisman.
Despite the negative reviews and critical mauling, the first film received (read our review here), the film is highly anticipated. Fans of the first movie are desperate to see where the story and characters go ahead of a potential third film and beyond. Again, the second part will get an extended R-rated cut later, but the PG-13-rated cut will be with us just after Easter. The new trailer for the film has been released. Let’s see what we can expect this time around.
SYNOPSIS
Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver continues the epic saga of Kora and the surviving warriors as they prepare to sacrifice everything, fighting alongside the brave people of Veldt, to defend a once peaceful village, a newfound homeland for those who have lost their own in the fight against the Motherworld. On the eve of their battle, the warriors must face the truths of their own pasts, each revealing why they fight. As the full force of the Realm bears down on the burgeoning rebellion, unbreakable bonds are forged, heroes emerge, and legends are made.

THE FUTURE
Zack Snyder plans to film two movies in the franchise back to back. Reports from December 2023 suggested that work was underway on the screenplay for the third untitled film. Snyder has expressed his intention to make the franchise a trilogy, but he has also indicated that he plans to create a trilogy of sequels. As of now, it is unclear how many films the writer/director plans to make. Tom Holkenborg will once again return to compose the score for the film. Holkenborg is a regular collaborator of Snyder’s after working together on Army of the Dead and Justice League.
