In An Age Of Light, A Darkness Rises in the new poster for Star Wars: The Acolyte. Hitting Disney+ On June 4th.
The Star Wars franchise continues on the small screen thanks to Disney+. After the brilliance of the Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka series, our attention now turns to Star Wars: The Acolyte. The eight-episode series will blast onto our screens on June 4th. Created by Leslye Headland, the series features Amandla Stenberg and Lee Jung-Jae in the leading roles with Headland portraying a former Padawan while Jung-Jae portrays a Jedi Master.
The cast also includes Manny Jacinto, and Dafne Keen as a young Jedi, Jodie Turner-Smith. Rebecca Henderson as Vernestra Rwoh, a Jedi Knight prodigy. Charlie Barnett as a young Jedi, Dean-Charles Chapman, and Carrie-Anne Moss as a Jedi. Margarita Levieva, Amy Tsang. And Joonas Suotamo as Kelnacca, a Wookiee Jedi master. Suotamo returns to the franchise after playing Chewbacca in the sequel trilogy films and Solo: A Star Wars Story. Ahead of the new trailer being released tomorrow, the new poster for the series has been unveiled.

PREMISE
The Acolyte is set at the end of the High Republic era in a world of “shadowy secrets and emerging dark side powers”. Approximately 100 years before Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes, but the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated.
