This Week on The Official Chart, we get a triple threat of Dune, with Dune Part Two blowing in and taking the top spot!
Welcome to The Official Film Chart.
THE UK TOP TEN
This week, we see new two entries and two re-entries into the placings. As such, it is time to bid farewell to Meg 2: The Trench, Wicked Little Letters, The Equalizer 3, and Kung Fu Panda. But what is that all-important number-one title? Are we seeing a non-mover at the top or has something else blown in to grab the top of the chart mountain? Let’s find out.

DUNE PART TWO BLOWS STRAIGHT INTO THE TOP SPOT!
Dune: Part Two makes a strong Number 1 debut on the Official Film Chart. The Sci-Fi adventure film clocks in its first week of release with an impressive 89,600 sales on digital downloads only. A DOUBLE HANDER OF HORROR
And that concludes our tour through the top ten best-sellers for this week. This week’s PVOD offerings are two movies that will scare the pants off you. The first is Imaginary, the newest horror film from Blumhouse. In the film, a woman returns to her childhood home and discovers her stepdaughter’s imaginary friend is more than imaginary. For all of you who had nightmares that your Teddy Bear was coming to get you, this is the one for you!

The second offering is a surprise, to be honest. Immaculate opened at the cinema just over a month ago but is already on the PVOD market, despite being a box office success. Sydney Sweeney stars in a tale that focuses on a young woman of devout faith, who is invited to reside at a picturesque Italian convent, but slowly realizes the terrifying secrets it harbours. I haven’t seen the film but from what I’ve heard, the final sequence is a doozy, one that is unexpected and frightening. You can rent either film for £15.99 or buy to keep for £19.99 from your preferred streaming site now.

Can either of these scary movies make a dent in the chart placings next week? We will have to wait to find out, so until next week…
Whatever you decide, whatever you buy, stay safe, be kind, look after each other, and happy viewing!
