Just weeks after Disney+ confirmed the release date for The Punisher: One Last Kill, the streamer has unleashed the first trailer for the Special Presentation. After his glorious return in the first season of Daredevil: Born Again, Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle is once again back on the streets and looking for criminals to slay. But before he can tussle with our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man later this summer, The Punisher has One Last Kill to pursue, and it looks every bit as brutal, violent, and bloodthirsty as we hoped. But before we dive in, check out the trailer in all its glory below.
NEW POSTER
What a phenomenal new trailer. The Punisher is easily one of Marvel’s most cherished heroes, and the thought of unleashing him on the streets of New York is an enticing prospect. If the trailer is anything to go by, there will be hell to pay on the streets before Frank’s encounter with Spidey. Thankfully, Marvel has upped the ante by revealing a brand new poster for the one-off special. It features Jon Bernthal’s vigilante marching towards his destiny and another battle with the armies of darkness. Check it out below.
THE SERIES
Reinaldo Marcus Green directs The Punisher: One Last Kill and co-writes the screenplay with Jon Bernthal, who plays Frank Castle in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Joining Bernthal in the upcoming Disney+ special are Jason R. Moore, Roe Rancell, and Mila Jaymes, with Chelsea Brea, Dominick Mancino, Evelyn O. Vaccaro, and Tom Johnson contributing to the cast.
“I care very deeply about Frank, I’m really grateful that I’m getting the opportunity to tell the story that I think the fans deserve,” Bernthal said recently. “We’re giving it our all, and we’re trying to tell a Frank Castle story that we’re going to turn our back on the audience — it’s not going to be easy, it’s not going to be light.”
RELEASE
So, the summer of 2026 is officially the summer of The Punisher. With his special presentation hitting the small screen on May 12 and his big screen debut coming in July, Frank Castle is back with a vengeance. The recently released Spider-Man trailer revealed both Frank and Spidey simultaneously chasing an armored car through the streets of New York City. However, before Frank can cause too much havoc, the wall-crawler takes away his battle van and covers his mouth with webbing before he can escalate the film’s rating to an adult-only affair!
How their encounter will play out beyond that remains to be seen, but Marvel fans are excited and rightfully so. So, get ready to experience the summer of The Punisher. With his lethal edge, vicious tongue, and all guns blazing approach, The Punisher is here to take the fight to the MCU, and we are here for it one hundred percent. Good luck, Frank!
