The final trailer for X-Men ’97 subtly mocks the live-action movie’s leather suits.
Only three episodes remain in the first season of Marvel’s X-Men ’97. This inaugural season of Marvel’s new flagship series has delivered everything fans could have hoped for. However, the team’s future hangs in the balance as we approach the three-part season finale. Will Professor X return to lead the X-Men to victory? Can Cable return from the future to alter the past and save Gambit’s life? Or will Mister Sinister’s new Sentinel program lead to the downfall of the mutant era?
Tomorrow, the first episode of the finale will be released on Disney Plus, and it promises to reveal a lot. The studio is also reminding us of the journey so far, while teasing us with what may happen after the credits roll with a new “Final Trailer.” In the two-minute teaser, we are taken on a journey through the adventures so far. Afterward, we are brought back to the present, reuniting us with Cyclops and Cable. In a subtle dig at the live-action movies, the animated series also mocks the costumes featured in those movies. Check it out.
SHOTS FIRED!
The subtle mockery is exquisite. Many fans were outraged when Cyclops mocked Wolverine’s yellow spandex costume in Bryan Singer’s big-screen adventure. It will be pleasing for the fans to hear Cyclops address the mockery and bring balance to the situation. Especially since X-Men ’97 has become Marvel’s most highly regarded property. Justice has been served, and the animated series has regained its rightful position at the top!

THE CAST
The series revisits a classic period in the franchise’s history. Most of the original cast members are reprising their roles. Cal Dodd, Lenore Zann, George Buza, Alison Sealy-Smith, Chris Potter, Catherine Disher, Adrian Hough, and Christopher Britton are all set to return. Moreover, some will voice new characters who will join the X-Men team as the season unfolds.
The new series welcomes several new voices to the cast, including Jennifer Hale, Anniwaa Buachie, Ray Chase, Matthew Waterson, JP Karliak, Holly Chou, Jeff Bennett, and AJ LoCascio.
