Despicable Me 4 New Header

Steve Carrell returns as the voice of Gru alongside Kristen Wiig in Despicable Me 4. Causing more mayhem in cinemas this July!

Felonious Gru, his family, and those pesky Minions are back again this summer. Heading our way soon is Despicable Me 4, the fourth film in the series and the sixth film in the franchise in total. The movie will open in the United States on July 3rd and in the United Kingdom on July 12th. The Illumination animated movie promises to deliver yet another hilarious family comedy that is sure to draw in large crowds. Steve Carrell once again provides the voice of Gru with the returning Kristen Wiig as the voice of his wife Lucy. Also lending their voices to the film are the returning Miranda Cosgrove as Margo, and Dana Gaier as Edith. Steve Coogan as Silas Ramsbottom and the irreplaceable Pierre Coffin as the Minions.

DESPICABLE ME 4, from Illumination

Newcomers to this new chapter are Will Ferrell as the villainous Maxime Le Mal. Sofía Vergara as Valentina, Le Mal’s femme fatale girlfriend. Joey King as Poppy, an aspiring supervillain. And Madison Polan as Agnes, Gru and Lucy’s youngest adopted daughter, replacing Nev Scharrel. Stephen Colbert, Chloe Fineman, and Chris Renaud have been cast in undisclosed roles. The new trailer for the film has been released today. Let’s see what mayhem we can expect this July.

PREMISE

Gru, the world’s favorite supervillain-turned-Anti-Villain League agent, returns for an exciting, bold new era of Minions mayhem, alongside his wife and fellow Anti-Villain League agent Lucy, their three adopted girls —Margo, Edith and Agnes. And the newest member of the Gru family, Gru Jr., who is intent on tormenting his dad. The family is forced to go on the run when they become targeted by escaped criminal Maxime Le Mal and his femme fatale girlfriend Valentina.
