This week on The Official Chart, the Ghostbusters get frozen, and The Crow flies in, leaving Dune: Part Two to hold the top spot!
Welcome to The Official Film Chart.
THE UK TOP TEN
This week sees two new entries enter the chart placings. To make way for these newcomers, we must say a fond farewell to Anyone But You, and Late Night With The Devil. But what are these new titles, and where have they entered the chart? Grab your stillsuit as we take a look.

DUNE: PART TWO MAKES IT A MONTH AT THE TOP!
Dune: Part Two makes it a full month at Number 1 on the Official Film Chart. Showing no signs of slowing down, the sci-fi sequel holds off competition from two brand-new entries this week and still manages the feat on digital downloads only. (Read our review here.)

THE GHOSTBUSTERS GET A FROZEN EMPIRE AT NUMBER TWO!
Landing straight in at Number 2 is Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, a sequel to 2021’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and the fifth instalment in the franchise. The film stars Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon and Stranger Things’ Finn Wolfhard inside a strong cast, including stars of the original Ghostbusters films, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson. (Read our review here.)

KUNG FU PANDA 4 GETS THE CHOP!
Kung Fu Panda 4 at Number 3 drops a place after its debut in the chart last week.

MIGRATION FLIES DOWN A PLACE!
Migration at Number 4 also loses a place this week.

THE CROW FLIES IN!
Our second new entry this week, The Crow enters the Official Film Chart for the first time at Number 5. Following a new reissue marking the 30th anniversary of the film’s release.

THE IRON CLAW GRAPPLES ITS WAY UP THE CHART!
A big new entry on last week’s chart, The Iron Claw lifts two places week-on-week to Number 6.

THE EQUALIZER RUNNING OUT OF CHART AMMUNITION!
The chart regular The Equalizer 3 drops two places to Number 7.

BOB MARLEY RUNNING OUT OF LOVE!
Musical biopic Bob Marley: One Love drops four places to Number 8. (Read our review here.)

WONKA ISN’T SO SWEET!
Timothee Chalamet’s turn as the titular character of Wonka drops two places to Number 9. (Read our review here.)

OPPENHEIMER IS READY TO DROP!
And finally, Oppenheimer earns a landmark 25th consecutive week in the Top 10 at Number 10.

DO YOU WANT TO VISIT THE NEW EMPIRE?
And that is this week’s top ten titles. However, a VERY large threat is looming over the top ten. Hitting PVOD this week is the blockbuster monster movie Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire. The film is the fifth big-screen adventure for the two Titans in the Monsterverse. In the film, Kong encounters more of his species in the Hollow Earth and must unite again with Godzilla to stop their tyrannical leader and his frost-breathing monster from invading Earth’s surface. (Read our review here.)

Will the two Titans stomp all over the rest of the chart next week and rule the placings? It is certainly possible. Find out when next week’s chart is revealed. So, until next time…
Whatever you decide, whatever you buy, stay safe, be kind, look after each other, and happy viewing!
