Enemies one match, allies the next. Are you ready to battle? Play Star Wars: Hunters now on Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
Enemies one match, allies the next. Finally, the long-awaited combat game STAR WARS: HUNTERS has officially launched. The game features fast-paced multi-player clashes across maps inspired by classic locales, from Hoth to Endor. But Star Wars: Hunters also introduces a new element to Star Wars storytelling with its brand of arena combat, a form of fight entertainment; combatants, or “Hunters,” even play their own characters, resulting in ridiculously fun takes on Star Wars archetypes.
Lucasfilm has shared a new launch trailer to celebrate today’s release. And boy, does it look like an epic adventure. Especially if you have a penchant for two stacked Jawas in a trench coat or a droid that thinks it’s a Jedi! No, we’re not kidding. Don’t miss the fun; hit play on the trailer below.
SYNOPSIS
Join the greatest Hunters from across the Star Wars™ galaxy on the planet of Vespaara where high-stakes competitions are awaiting them in the Arena. Engage in thrilling third person combat to dominate your opponents in a range of adventurous battlegrounds that evoke iconic Star Wars worlds. Mix and match teams, use skill, tactics and customize your Hunters to find a winning strategy and reap the spoils of victory in the all-new free-to-play game.
If that’s not exciting enough to make you want to dance around the campfire like a Wookiee at a Porg roast, Zynga has also unveiled two stunning murals—one in London and another in Los Angeles—that literally stand out from the walls. Check them out here.
