On July 12th, it’ll be time to say your prayers as Longlegs creeps into UK and Irish cinemas. The movie is both written and directed by Osgood Perkins. Maika Monroe leads the cast alongside Alicia Witt, Blair Underwood, and Kiernan Shipka. Dakota Daulby, Lisa Chandler, Erin Boyes. Rryla McIntosh, and Charles Jarman. The legendary Oscar-winner Nicolas Cage rounds out the cast as Longlegs. An elusive serial killer is currently the subject of an FBI manhunt.
The production team comprises Nicolas Cage, Dan Kagan, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Dave Caplan, and Chris Ferguson. In the UK, Black Bear International is handling the film’s distribution, and the official trailer is now available. Take a deep breath as we take a look.
PREMISE
FBI agent Lee Harker is a gifted new recruit assigned to the unsolved case of an elusive serial killer. As the case takes complex turns, unearthing evidence of connections to occult practices, Harker discovers a personal connection to the merciless killer and must race against time to stop him before he strikes again.
