The highly esteemed Ray Harryhausen Awards have announced the victors for 2024. These awards serve as a tribute to the renowned pioneer of stop-motion animation and celebrate the artistic ingenuity that he has sparked. Previous winners of the Harryhausen Awards include the visionary director Guillermo Del Toro, Mark Gustafson, and special effects legend Phil Tippett. Filmmakers spanning different generations have eagerly presented their projects for evaluation in this year’s categories. Now, after some severe scrutiny from the Gods of Olympus, the winners have been crowned.

This year’s lineup was anticipated to surpass all expectations, promising grandeur and innovation that rivals even the most mythical of legends. THE WINNERS
The renowned Arch Bronze Foundry, known for its exceptional craftsmanship, has skillfully crafted an exquisite award. These talented artisans are also responsible for producing the prestigious Olivier Awards. The resulting award exudes a rare and unparalleled beauty, captivating the beholder with a presence that rivals even the most precious treasures of the gods. John Walsh, a Ray Harryhausen Foundation trustee and friend of the site, will announce the awards this year. Steve Henderson, Director of the Manchester Animation Festival, and Ti Singh, Director of the Forbidden Worlds Festival, will join him. But be warned, these awards are protected by Zeus himself!
