Hot Toys unveils new Marvel, DC Comics and Star Wars figures!
This is the moment you were all waiting for. Ahead of the ACGHK that starts on July 26, Hot Toys has unveiled its Summer showcase. This year, the focus is on Marvel as it is its 85th anniversary. First, Iron Man XLII from Iron Man 3 is getting the long-awaited 2.0 treatment. There is a basic version and a deluxe one that comes with another style of damaged armor and a different display base. Then, Black Widow from Iron Man 2 is also getting a brand new update with an Artisan version. She comes with the first fully magnetic display base. Finally, Iron Spider from Avengers Infinity War/Endgame is getting an upgrade as well with a newly crafted headsculpt and suit. This one will come in basic version and Artisan version. Another Wolverine figure is set to be unveiled on July 24.
On the Star Wars side, Hot Toys has unveiled its rumoured General Grievous figure and a new batttle damaged Darth Vader. The latter takes inspiration from the Legends video game The Force Unleashed. There is a basic version and a deluxe one that comes with more accessories.Finally, on the DC Comics side, Hot Toys has announced a Joker figure from the highly-acclaimed Joker film. This comes both in basic version and Artisan version. Exclusive figures for the big event were unveiled last week and included Clone Commander Scorch, Darth Maul hologram and Joker (Batman Imposter Version).
