British Horror Gets An Upgrade In The Chilling Trailer For Lore

As the season of the witch approaches, Kaleidoscope Entertainment is set to unleash a bone-chilling new horror anthology called LORE, which promises to give British horror a thrilling upgrade. This film takes classic campfire horror tales and infuses them with a terrifying new twist, bringing forth a greater evil to haunt audiences.

The film will bring a new breed of terror to UK cinemas this September. But if you can’t wait to satisfy your horror cravings, you can catch it even earlier on the Icon Film Channel, starting August 26th. SYNOPSIS

Four young thrill-seeking friends book a horror-themed camping excursion led by Darwin, a strange and eccentric guide. One night around the campfire, Darwin encourages them to tell the scariest and most twisted story they can think of. As they recount tales of sinister spirits and malevolent demons, the group soon realises that these stories will have very real consequences for them all.

CAST & CREATIVES

The film initially premiered at FrightFest 2023 and took the event by storm. Described as a love letter to classic horror, the film stars Richard Brake (Doom, Hannibal Rising), Andrew Lee Potts (The Witcher, Primeval), Bill Fellows (Ted Lasso, Lady Macbeth), and Rufus Hound (Hounded, Queens of Mystery). The film is directed by James Bushe, Patrick Ryder, and Greig Johnson.

RELEASE

With Halloween approaching, Lore is the perfect slice of contemporary British horror. With its chilling narratives, guaranteed jump scares, and terrifying creatures, the film looks like a rare gem.
