PREMISE
In 1991, an acupuncturist hippie named Janet spends the summer at home in rural western Massachusetts with her 11-year-old daughter, Lacy. Janet invites three people into her life: her boyfriend Wayne, her friend Regina, and local theatre group leader Avi. Lacy becomes skeptical of the three and remains attached to Janet, who grows frustrated with her daughter’s clinginess.
