Look Into My Eyes is an intimate and cathartic look into the world of New York City psychics. In theaters on September 6th.
It is up to the individual if they believe in the work of psychics. There are those who strongly believe in what these people tell them. Others dismiss their work as nothing but pure hokum. There are some out there who prey on people’s grief and desire to connect with their nearest and dearest. My own experience is of the latter. Someone who wanted more and more money while telling me pure nonsense. I knew after the second consultation that I was being led on and lied to. After cutting contact, I received more and more messages from this person telling me my departed loved one had important messages for me and that I had to pay out exorbitant amounts to discover what she had to tell me. Of course, I ignored them and never contacted them again.
But there are others out there who seem to be the genuine article. People who appear to be able to contact the other side. Whether they can or not is up for debate. But I do believe that there is something in it, despite the fraudsters and con artists out there. On September 6th, A24 is bringing the documentary feature Look Into My Eyes to theaters. This look at the work of New York City psychics comes our way from the award-winning filmmaker Lana Wilson. The official trailer for the film has been released by the company.
