Signature Entertainment is proud to unveil the official release date for the Brian Epstein biopic Midas Man, starring Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, streaming on Prime Video from 30 October. Epstein is possibly best known for managing The Beatles, becoming the mastermind behind their meteoric rise to fame. Sadly, his demons got the better of him. Known to be a compulsive gambler. A lover of the finer things in life as well as hiding his sexuality, he died suddenly in 1967 at the young age of 32 years of age. The official cause of death was due to an overdose of Carbrital. A hypnotic preparation combining the barbiturate pentobarbital with the bromide carbromal.
This film adaptation of his life features Jacob Fortune-Lloyd as Epstein. He is supported by Emily Watson. Eddie Marsan. Ed Speleers. Blake Richardson. Jonah Lees. Leo Harvey-Elledge. Campbell Wallace and Adam Lawrence amongst others.
