Brandy faces off against the mother-in-law from hell with the written and directed by Max and Sam Eggers movie, The Front Room.

The American singer, songwriter and actress Brandy made her return to the horror genre earlier this year with the movie The Front Room. Written and directed by the Eggers Brothers, Max and Sam. The film is based on a 2016 short story of the same name by Susan Hill. Also featured in the movie are Kathryn Hunter, Andrew Burnap, and Neal Huff. The synopsis of the film sees Brandy and Kathryn Hunter face off against each other. Described as ‘the wickedest mother-in-law of them all,’ the film was distributed by A24. It is now available to watch at home.

PREMISE

A young couple, expecting their first child, finds themselves in the unexpected position of caring for a stepmother who has been distant from the family for many years. Everything goes to hell for newly-pregnant Belinda (Brandy) after her mother-in-law (Kathryn Hunter) moves in. As the diabolical guest tries to get her claws on the child, Belinda must draw the line somewhere…
