Welcome to The Official Film Chart.
THE UK TOP TEN
This week sees two new entries into the top ten placings. To make way for this pairing, we wish a fond farewell to The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King and Trap. We also have a brand new number-one title. What could have peddled into the top spot? Put your leathers on as we find out.

THE BIKERIDERS JUMP INTO THE TOP SPOT!
We have a new Number 1 on the Official Film Chart this week as The Bikeriders jumps four places following its release on disc. The period crime drama, starring Austin Butler, Jodie Comer and Tom Hardy earns its Number 1 place in its ninth week on the chart, thanks to its new availability on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K UHD.

DESPICABLE ME 4 RISES UP THE CHART!
Despicable Me 4 rebounds one place to Number 2.

THE BOY AND THE HERON FLY INTO THE TOP TEN!
Studio Ghibli’s adventure The Boy and the Heron, which flies 26 places up to Number 3, enters the Top 10 for the first time. (Read our review here.)

INSIDE OUT ON ITS WAY OUT?
Former Number 1 Inside Out 2 drops two places to Number 4.

TWISTERS STILL SPINNING!

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring claims a new peak as it rises to Number 6.

BAD BOYS SUFFER A BAD FALL!

THE CHART HEADS FOR THE BORDERLANDS!
Finally, this week’s highest new entry Borderlands debuts at Number 10. This sci-fi epic features a host of big names led by Cate Blanchett, who forms an unlikely alliance with a team of misfits to find the missing daughter of the most powerful man in the universe. (Read our review here.)

HAVE YOU GRABBED YOUR COPY OF THE YEAR’S BEST MOVIE YET?
And that is all there is for this week’s chart. There are absolutely no prizes for guessing what this week’s biggest home entertainment release is. Of course, it is the completely brilliant, entertaining and hilarious Deadpool And Wolverine. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman finally team up as their most famous characters in a film that we at Future Of The Force Towers absolutely adored. (Read our review here.) To make things even better, the film has bypassed PVOD and has gone straight to digital download to buy. It gets better as the physical copies will be available before the end of the month. I pre-ordered my digital copy and can honestly say that I’ve rewatched it five times over the past two days. I’ve pre-ordered my physical copies too. Take my advice, if you can spare £13.99 to buy it on digital, grab it without delay! LFG!

There’s no point in asking if Deadpool And Wolverine can bother the chart next week. To be honest, they are likely to rip the chart placings apart. I could be wrong. But I really don’t think so, the movie is just too big NOT to hit the top spot next week. But we will find out next week, so until then…
Whatever you buy, whatever you decide, stay safe, be kind, look after each other, and happy viewing!
