Prime Video has released the official trailer for the live-action series Nautilus, launching exclusively on Prime Video on 25th October 2024, for customers in the UK and Ireland.
PREMISE
Nautilus tells the origin story of Captain Nemo. An Indian Prince robbed of his birthright and family, joining him as he steals a formidable prototype submarine and escapes into the Indian Ocean with a ragtag crew. Determined to enact revenge against the ruthless East India Mercantile Company. The series is inspired by Jules Verne’s “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea”.
Nautilus stars Shazad Latif. Georgia Flood. Thierry Fremont and Céline Menville. With guest appearances from Richard E Grant. Anna Torv and Noah Taylor.

BEHIND THE SCENES
Prime Video secured rights for Nautilus in the UK and Ireland through an exclusive deal with Disney Entertainment. Nautilus is distributed by Disney Entertainment and acknowledges the support from the Australian Government’s Location Incentive. And from the Queensland Government via Screen Queensland’s Production Attraction Strategy.  The development and production of the project were led by Xavier Marchand of Moonriver TV and Anand Tucker of Seven Stories. James Dormer served as the writer and executive producer, with Johanna Devereaux also taking on the role of executive producer. Chris Loveall. Colleen Woodcock and Daisy Gilbert. Cameron Welsh serves as producer and Michael Matthews as lead director. With later episodes directed by Ben Lucas and Isabelle Sieb.
