This week, we see one new entry and two re-entries in the chart. To allow these three titles to take up their places, it is time for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes, and Inside Out 2 to leave us. DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE MAKE IT A TRIO OF WEEKS AT THE TOP!
Deadpool & Wolverine holds back a brand-new entrant to claim a third week atop the Official Film Chart. Racking up 63,000 pure digital download sales in its third week, Deadpool & Wolverine continues its reign as the biggest film of the week in the UK. (Read our review here.)

IN THE CHART, EVERYONE CAN HEAR YOU SCREAM!
Sci-Fi horror sequel Alien: Romulus lands straight in at Number 2 on digital downloads only. Set between the events of Alien (1979) and Aliens (1986), the film sees six young space colonists scavenging the deepest corners of a derelict space station as they come face to face with the most terrifying lifeform in the universe. TWISTERS BLOW BACK UP THE CHART!
Disaster film Twisters spins up five places to Number 3 this week. (Read our review here.)

THE MINIONS JUMP UP A PLACE!
Despicable Me 4 moves up a place at Number 4.

THE BAD BOYS COME BACK FIGHTING!
Bad Boys: Ride Or Die lifts five to Number 5. (Read our review here.)

THE DEMETER SINKS THREE PLACES!
Horror movie The Last Voyage of the Demeter drops three places to Number 6.

ONE, TWO, FREDDY’S RETURNED FOR YOU!
The classic horror film A Nightmare on Elm Street slices into the chart at Number 7 and earns a brand-new peak as it enters the Top 10 for the very first time. It’s been almost four years since its last appearance in the Official Film Chart, when it peaked at Number 29 in 2020.

A QUIET PLACE MAKES A LOUD NOISE AS IT FALLS DOWN THE CHART!

THE ORIGINAL TWISTER SPINS BACK INTO THE CHART!
The original 1996 film Twister flies back into the Top 10 at Number 9.

LONGLEGS ON ITS LAST LEGS!
Finally, the psychological horror Longlegs drops one place to Number 10. (Read our review here.)

THE GHOST WITH THE MOST IS NOW AVAILABLE ON PVOD!
And that is this week’s top ten best-selling titles. However, there is a surprise release on PVOD this week in Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice. The film, thirty-six years after the original movie opened in cinemas around a month ago and is already available to rent or buy early. Michael Keaton returns to perhaps his best-loved role as the ghost with the most alongside the also returning Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara. Jenna Ortega, Monica Bellucci and Willem Dafoe also join the cast in the Tim Burton-directed sequel. (Read our review here.)
