Get a sneak peek of the latest cover issue of Empire Magazine featuring Cassian, Mon Montha, and Director Krennic from Andor: A Star Wars Story.
Just days after Disney+ confirmed the official release date for Andor: A Star Wars Story, or Andor Season 2 if you prefer, Empire Magazine has just revealed its latest cover issue featuring the series. The eye-catching cover features Cassian, Mon Montha, and the returning Director Krennic, once again brought to life by Ben Mendelsohn. Take a look at the cover below.

THE SERIES
While Season 1 followed a year in Cassian Andor’s life set about five years before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the forthcoming episodes will bridge the remaining gap. Covering four years told in three-episode arcs, Andor Season 2 follows Cassian as he evolves into a leader for the emerging Rebel Alliance. Cassian may have been a reluctant hero before, but the Andor we’ll meet next year is fueled by a higher purpose in the fight for freedom against the Empire.
In addition to the glorious cover art, Empire shared two new images from the new season. The first image reveals a closer look at Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor, while the second delivers our first look at the return of Director Krennic. Jump to Lightspeed and check them out.

RELEASE
Seeing these characters back in action after such a long break is truly exciting. It feels like ages since we last enjoyed Andor Season One, especially considering the recent releases like Star Wars: Ahsoka and The Acolyte. With the new season exploring the lead-up to Cassian’s heroic sacrifice in Rogue One and K-2SO making a comeback to bring some much-needed charm, the final twelve episodes of Cassian’s journey promise to be a rollercoaster ride. But can these new episodes give Cassian the perfect setup for his noble deeds? Tune in to Disney+ on April 22nd/23rd to find out!
