ABOUT THE FILM
Written and directed by the acclaimed Halina Reijn, early next year, we will be able to see the award-winning erotic thriller, Babygirl. The movie stars Nicole Kidman, Harris Dickinson, Sophie Wilde and Antonio Banderas. In the film, a high-powered CEO puts her career and family on the line when she begins a torrid affair with her much younger intern. Nicole Kidman recently won the Best Actress prize at the Venice Film Festival for her role. At the festival, Halina Reijn received a nomination for the Golden Lion Award. The film opens in the UK and Ireland on the 10th of January from A24.
PREMISE
This cinematic work explores the complexities of power dynamics and sexuality within a professional setting as a high-ranking CEO (Nicole Kidman) embarks on a forbidden romance with a captivating intern (Harris Dickinson), who is significantly younger.

ACCLAIM
The film received acclaim from critics fortunate enough to attend the Venice Film Festival. Reviews described the film as “sexy, dark, and unpredictable,” and “sufficiently sharp and intense.” Nicole Kidman’s portrayal has been lauded for its “vivid, strong performance”. And that it “conveys a hint of unease, as if she is not fully persuaded by her own role.”
