James Gunn’s Superman film has finally delivered its first trailer. Listen to John Murphy’s trailer music, available to stream now!
After the release of the first teaser trailer earlier today, our minds are buzzing. Has what we’ve been shown just a very small taster for what’s to come our way next July? Has it spoiled anything important? And what else lies in store for us? One of the biggest queries is, has John Murphy teased us about his score and the use of the classic John Williams theme? Or is it a bluff? Could it be a nod to the original 1978 film and its subsequent sequels, or has Murphy created a totally different score that is original and has nothing in common with Williams’ compositions?
That, of course, remains to be seen and heard. But for now, after seeing the teaser trailer, Murphy’s theme from it is now available to stream everywhere. Fans can now listen to the teaser trailer’s music to their hearts’ content. It isn’t a spoiler to say it is a louder and more rock-oriented version of the Superman theme than we’ve heard before. But strangely, it fits the footage we’ve seen today. Take a listen below:
