At long last, the trailer for Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps has arrived. The wait to get our first look at the debut of Marvel’s First Family has been arduous, but today, the studio has pulled back the curtain and delivered our first look at the film. That’s right, Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm are finally here and ready to take their rightful place in the MCU properly. But can the Fantastic Four overcome their legendary adversary, Galactus? Let’s check out the trailer below.
What an epic first trailer. Fans have always wanted to see Marvel’s First Family enter the MCU proper, and this trailer delivers on the promise in spades. The film looks exceptional and is a shoo-in to shoot to the top of our collective watchlist. But thankfully, the reveals don’t end there. The studio has also shared a brand-new poster for us to enjoy. So, get ready for some Clobberin’ time and check it out below.
SYNOPSIS
Against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel’s First Family is forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, while defending Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer.
PLOT
Outside of the trailer, little is known about the film’s plot. However, we know that Marvel’s first family will encounter the notorious villain Galactus and his herald, the Silver Surfer. The film stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm, and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm. Julia Garner was recently cast as Silver Surfer, and Ralph Ineson joined the party as Galactus. Our team recently enjoyed discussing the new-look cast, and we had a variety of thoughts on it.
