Prime Video’s Reacher spin-off series, Neagley, featuring Maria Sten, has added five new cast members.
With the third season of Prime Video’s Reacher making a big splash, everyone seems to be all about Lee Child’s crime universe right now. Led by the incredible Alan Ritchson, the latest season has excited both fans and critics and after just three episodes, it’s evident that the show is picking up steam. After the success of season two, one character who won fans over is Frances Neagley. Played by the talented Maria Sten, she’s been a key player in all three seasons of the hit series. As Jack Reacher’s most trusted ally, Neagley has been integral to the story so far, but now, it looks like she’s gearing up for her own adventure!
NEW ADVENTURES
That’s right, Maria Sten is back in the saddle for her very own series. Amazon MGM ordered the series at the back end of 2024, and today, Variety has confirmed the show has officially started production. Moreover, the show has added five new additions to the cast. Joining Sten in the series are Greyston Holt as Detective Hudson Riley; Jasper Jones as Keno; Adeline Rudolph as Renee; Matthew Del Negro as Pierce Woodrow; and Damon Herriman as Lawrence Cole.
SYNOPSIS
“Frances Neagley is a private investigator in Chicago. When she learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she becomes hell-bent on justice. Using everything she’s learned from Jack Reacher and her time as a member of the 110 Special Investigators, Neagley puts herself on a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil.”
Nick Santora, Reacher’s executive producer and showrunner, is teaming up with Nicholas Wootton to develop the new series. The duo previously collaborated on the series Prison Break, adding to their industry experience. Both Santora and Wootton will take on the roles of executive producers and co-showrunners for the project. Neagley will be produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Skydance Television, alongside CBS Studios, which has recently absorbed the original slate from co-producer Paramount TV Studios.
Lee Child, Don Granger, and Lisa Kussner will executive-produce the series, joining Santora and Wootton. They will collaborate with David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell from Skydance Television. Additionally, Carolyn Harris, Kenny Madrid, and Niko Fernandez will oversee the project for Skydance.
RELEASE
Unfortunately, Prime Video hasn’t committed to a timeline for the release of the series. But with Reacher Season 3 currently enjoying a successful run on the streamer, surely Neagley will be making her solo debut sooner rather than later. Until then, Reacher Season 3 continues on the streamer this Thursday.
