The Road to Rebellion Begins With This Special Look Teaser For Andor: Season 2

Lucasfilm has shared a Special Look teaser and a new poster for Andor Season 2 (Andor: A Star Wars Story)
Just days after Lucasfilm dropped the first trailer for Andor: A Star Wars Story (Andor Season 2), the studio has shared a new special look at the upcoming adventure. The much-anticipated second season of the Star Wars series is landing on Disney+ this April! With the countdown on, this new teaser gives us a sneak peek at Cassian Andor’s journey as the Empire’s hold on the galaxy keeps getting stronger.
The new featurette is packed with fresh footage from the show and includes interviews with the cast. Additionally, the teaser reveals that Cassian will be back in the cockpit of his iconic U-Wing fighter from Rogue One. As if that wasn’t exciting enough, numerous fan-favorite characters from Rogue One will also be making appearances. So buckle up, hit play, and get ready to embrace the rebellion!
SEASON 2
“The special look, available now on Disney+ and YouTube, offers a glimpse at the making of Season 2 of the compelling series, in which the characters and their relationships will intensify as the horizon of war draws near and Cassian becomes a key player in the Rebel Alliance. Everyone will be tested and, as the stakes rise, the betrayals, sacrifices and conflicting agendas will become profound.”
If this special look at Andor Season 2 hasn’t convinced you to join the rebellion yet, Lucasfilm just dropped a brand new key art official poster for the series. The poster features the series’ heroes set against the ominous backdrop of the dreaded Death Star. Unlike the first poster, which was somewhat understated and worn, this new one-sheet elevates the upcoming season to theatrical proportions, hinting that this season will take us into the age of rebellion. Creator and executive producer Tony Gilroy has shared that this season will follow Cassian’s journey in the four years before the events of Rogue One. The 12-episode story will unfold in four weekly chapters of three episodes each.
Seeing these characters back in action after such a long break is truly exciting. It feels like ages since we last enjoyed Andor Season One, especially considering the recent releases like Skeleton Crew and The Acolyte. But with the new season exploring the lead-up to Cassian’s heroic sacrifice in Rogue One and K-2SO making a comeback to bring some much-needed charm, the final twelve episodes of Cassian’s journey promise to be a rollercoaster ride. But can these new episodes give Cassian the perfect setup for his noble deeds? Tune in to Disney+ on April 22nd in the US/23rd in the UK to find out!
