Toho Animation’s My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, a new spinoff series, will stream new episodes weekly on Crunchyroll. 

Toho Co., Ltd. has revealed the new trailer, poster, and opening theme artist for My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, which premieres on Crunchyroll Monday, 7th April. The brand-new animated spinoff series will stream exclusively on the platform, with new episodes premiering weekly in the UK, simultaneously with Japan. My Hero Academia: Vigilantes takes place before the events of the main My Hero Academia anime, based on the original manga created by Kohei Horikoshi.

The new trailer reveals the opening theme song, “Kekka Orai,” performed by Kocchi no Kento, best known for his viral song“Hai Yorokonde.” You can watch it below:

ABOUT THE SERIES

Based on the manga of the same name created by Hideyuki Furuhashi, Betten Court, and Kohei Horikoshi, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is directed by Kenichi Suzuki (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders; Cells at Work!). The series composition and script were written by Yosuke Kuroda (My Hero Academia; Trigun). The animation is being produced by Bones Film (Gachiakuta).
