The Fantastic Four and the X-Men team up with the Avengers to confront Doom in Avengers: Doomsday. Find the complete cast list here.
The Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men have assembled for Avengers: Doomsday. During a nearly five-and-a-half-hour livestream, Marvel Studios announced the cast for the hottest film of the decade. The impressive lineup includes a mix of fan-favorite characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, some actors from the original X-Men movies, and fresh faces from Fantastic Four: First Steps. However, the film has some notable absentees. Tom Holland will not appear as Spider-Man, Don Cheadle will not return as War Machine, Chris Evans will not be back as Steve Rogers, and there will be no mention of Deadpool and Wolverine.
However, the confirmed cast is brimming with Marvel legends. The cast announced included Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Anthony Mackie (Captain America), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Letitia Wright (Black Panther), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Danny Ramirez (The Falcon) and Winston Duke (M’Baku). Stars from the upcoming Thunderbolts* movie are also joining the party with Sebastian Stan (The Winter Soldier), Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova), Wyatt Russell (U.S. Agent), David Harbour (Red Guardian), Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost), and Lewis Pullman listed.

THE X-MEN ARE SET FOR DOOM
One of the most exciting additions to the cast is the original X-Men stars. The announcement confirmed that Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Ian McKellen (Magneto), James Marsden (Cyclops), and Rebecca Romijn (Mystique) from the original X-Men are all returning. They will be joined by Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler) from X2: X-Men United and Kelsey Grammer (Beast), who appeared in X-Men: The Last Stand. In an exciting twist, Channing Tatum will reprise his role as Gambit from Deadpool and Wolverine, rounding out this impressive lineup.
THE FANTASTIC 4
If the X-Men aren’t enough to convince you to book your tickets, members of the Fantastic Four are also joining the fight against Doctor Doom. This includes Pedro Pascal as Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as The Invisible Woman, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing, and Joseph Quinn as The Human Torch. Additionally, Tenoch Huerta MejÃa, who portrayed Namor in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, is set to feature in some capacity. The livestream concluded with a new rendition of composer Alan Silvestri’s Avengers theme, featuring Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, dressed in a suit and tie, giving a “shhh” gesture to the camera.
