Do you think you can survive Until Dawn? You better hope so. Screen Gems is bringing a live-action spin-off from the classic 2015 video game to movie screens this year. Directed by David F. Sandberg and written by Blair Butler and Gary Dauberman, the film is set in the same universe as the game but has a standalone story that will expand the property’s mythology. It has been described as “an R-rated love letter to the horror genre, with an ensemble cast”. The film stars Ella Rubin, Michael Cimino, Ji-young Yoo, and Odessa A’zion. Peter Stormare, who played Dr. Alan J. Hill in the original game, is confirmed to be playing a different character. The cast made an appearance this past weekend at WonderCon. You can check out the selected photos below.
