Sony Pictures Reveals The Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse Title Header

Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse spins a web at CinemaCon 2025 with the release of the first-look images of the upcoming animated sequel.

We all love Spider-Man. I have done ever since the original 1960s animated series (God, I’m old.) I enjoy the new animated movies in the franchise. However, we are in for a wait for the next chapter. At CinemaCon, which is currently being held in Las Vegas, details for Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse were revealed. The new animated sequel has a release date of June 4th, 2027, a full two years away.

Directed by Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson from a screenplay written by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller alongside David Callaham, the film stars Shameik Moore as the voice of Miles, alongside Hailee Steinfeld, Jason Schwartzman, and Karan Soni. The film continues from the cliffhanger ending of Across the Spider-Verse, with Miles trapped in an alternative universe. To make up for the wait, new images from the film have been revealed.
