Welcome to The Official Film Chart.

THE TOP TEN WEEKLY RUNDOWN

This week sees no less than five re-entries into the chart placings, representing quite a shift from last week. To make way for these returning favourites, it is the end of the road for Venom: The Last Dance, Moana 2, Sonic The Hedgehog 3, A Complete Unknown, and Dog Man. But what are these returning titles, and where have they re-entered? Cast a spell as we take a look.

BRIDGET JONES IS MAD ABOUT THE BOY ON PVOD!

And that is this week’s top ten chart. However, next week will be interesting. Launching this week on PVOD is the fourth and final (so they say) movie in the Bridget Jones franchise in Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy. Renée Zellweger, Hugh Grant, Colin Firth and Emma Thompson reprise their roles as Bridget Jones, Daniel Cleaver, Mark Darcy and Doctor Rawlings, respectively, from previous instalments, with Chiwetel Ejiofor, Leo Woodall, Isla Fisher, Josette Simon, Nico Parker and Leila Farzad joining the cast.

Bridget Jones, now a widowed single mother, navigates the challenges of parenthood, work, and modern dating with the support of her friends, family, and former partner, Daniel Cleaver. As she re-enters the dating world, she finds herself pursued by a younger man while also forming an unexpected connection with her son’s science teacher. If you can’t resist Bridget and want to join her one last time, you can rent the film for £15.99 or buy it early for £19.99.

Will Bridget Jones manage to snag the top spot next week? To be honest, I’m expecting it to smash the chart to pieces. But I could be wrong. See if I am next week, so until then…

Whatever you decide, whatever you buy, stay safe, be kind, look after each other, and happy viewing!
