Welcome to The Official Film Chart.
THE UK TOP TEN
This week sees another shift in the chart. We see one new entry and four re-entries into the placings. As such, we bid farewell to The Substance, Paddington In Peru, Babygirl, Anyone But You, and Kill Bill-Vol. 1. But what are these five titles, and where have they entered? Turn the page in your diaries as we take a look at a new week.

WE CAN’T GET ENOUGH BRIDGET!
We’re mad for Bridget! Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, the fourth and final film in the series, secures a second week atop the Official Film Chart. The Michael Morris-directed movie, adapted from Helen Morris’ 2013 novel of the same name, sees Bridget (Renée Zellweger) navigate love, loss and life as a single parent.

NOSFERATU BITES BACK AGAIN!
The 2024 gothic horror movie Nosferatu sees a huge uplift this week, jumping 13 to a new Number 2 peak. The Robert Eggers-directed remake of the 1922 classic Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror previously peaked at Number 4.

WICKED LOSES ITS MAGIC!
Wicked loses some of its magic, falling a place to Number 3.

KRAVEN GETS PUSHED BACK!
Kraven The Hunter is pushed back this week as it falls a place to Number 4.

GLADIATOR II FIGHTS BACK!
The Ridley Scott sequel Gladiator II is trying another battle in the chart arena, moving up two places to Number 5.

SONIC SPEEDS BACK INTO THE CHART!
Sonic The Hedgehog 3 is also on the up, vaulting eight in its seventh week on the chart to Number 6.

MICKEY 17 CLONES ITSELF INTO THE CHART!
This week’s highest new entry comes courtesy of the 2025 sci-fi black comedy Mickey 17, straight in at Number 7. The Bong Joon Ho-directed film, based on Edward Ashton’s 2022 novel Mickey7, is set in 2054, and follows Mickey Barnes (played by Robert Pattinson) as he joins a space colony as an ‘expendable;’ a disposable crew member cloned every time he dies.

BETTER MAN GETS BETTER AT NUMBER EIGHT!
The Robbie Williams biopic Better Man sings back into the chart, rising nineteen places to Number 8.

TWISTERS SPINS ITSELF BACK INTO THE CHART AGAIN!
The disaster movie sequel Twisters spins itself back into the chart, blowing up twenty-one places to Number 9.

MUFASA’S ROAR IS MORE OF A WEAK GROWL!
Finally, Mufasa: The Lion King loses his roar, dropping six places to Number 10.

ITS A BRAVE NEW WORLD FOR CAPTAIN AMERICA!
The fourth film in the franchise and the first not to star Chris Evans, Captain America: Brave New World is the top pick on PVOD this week. The film Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Captain America alongside Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Carl Lumbly, Xosha Roquemore, Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson, and Harrison Ford. In the film, Wilson investigates a conspiracy involving U.S. president Thaddeus Ross. Box office takings for the film were $414.1 million worldwide. Now, that sounds like a huge amount, but it wasn’t in the takings range as expected. Instead of being nearer to the $1 Billion range, it is being described as a misfire and a box office disappointment. If you want to watch the film over the Easter weekend, you can rent it for £15.99 or buy it early for £19.99.

Next week, it is a straight-up fight between Bridget Jones and Captain America for chart supremacy. Who will come out on top? I’m going for Captain America, but I could be wrong. To find out if I am, come back next week to discover the truth. So, until next time…
Whatever you decide, whatever you buy, stay safe, be kind, look after each other, and happy viewing!! And have a very happy Easter!
