Get ready, Star Wars fans, because Fortnite is updating our playlists with the Imperial March and Lapti Nek from Jabba’s Palace
It’s hard to believe that it has been a year since the last Star Wars Day drops delivered the Cantina Band theme as a Jam Track in Fortnite. The iconic band tune has been playing in our playlist on the island ever since; however, as great as this track is, fans have been yearning for more of John Williams’ brilliance to accentuate their gameplay. Well, thankfully, the wait is almost over because Epic Games has confirmed that two new Star Wars Jam Tracks will be heading our way in the new Galactic Battle season.
On Friday, Epic Games will release Darth Vader’s iconic Imperial March and Lapti Nek, the legendary theme from Jabba’s Palace. These iconic themes will arrive as Jam Tracks and will be playable across the Fortnite Festival arena. Furthermore, players will be able to use them as lobby music and for Game Moments, such as intro music and celebration music. This is fantastic news as we head into the new season.

GALACTIC BATTLE
Similar to last year, the release of these tracks is timed to coincide with the new season of Star Wars, which also launches on Friday. Titled “Galactic Battle,” the new season promises to be a significant event in the Fortnite Star Wars calendar. But the fun doesn’t end there. Ahead of the new season, Fortnite and Star Wars have teamed up to give fans a new game skin absolutely free! That’s right, from now until August 31st, fans can get their hands on the new First Order Stormtrooper skin to bolster their First Order ranks. Find out how to claim yours here.
If that isn’t enough, fans can catch the first two episodes of Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld two days earlier than its debut on Disney+ thanks to a new Fortnite Star Wars Watch Party.

A NEW SEASON AWAITS
The new Star Wars Battle Pass will be available starting May 2 and will remain active until June 8. This time frame includes Star Wars Day on May 4, which is always a big deal in Fortnite, as it is known for introducing fantastic new characters and cosmetics in the item shop. There’s a lot of buzz going around that lightsabers might finally be turned into pickaxes. Fans have been asking Epic Games to let Star Wars characters use lightsabers, and those wishes may soon come true. And with X-Wing and TIE Fighters coming as usable vehicles, the new season is set up to be a rollercoaster ride of Star Wars brilliance.
Whether you’re into Jedi, Sith, Rebels, or Mandalorians, there’s something for everyone from the Force. So, get ready to dive in because these new updates are coming in faster than the Millennium Falcon making the Kessel Run! What else does Epic Games have up its sleeve? Only time will tell, but I’ll be on the map and hunting Jedi as Grievous in no time. You’ve been warned!

Happy gaming, and may the Force be with you! Now, go and claim your free First Order Stormtrooper skin and get ready to update your playlist with the Imperial March and Lapti Nek, thanks to Fortnite.
Mark the date in your calendar, the new Fortnite x Star Wars Galactic Battle Season launches on May 2.
