FULL INTERVIEW. We sat down with the cast of Andor: Season 2. Here we talk with the leaders of the Empire in Ben Mendelsohn, Kyle Soller, and Denise Gough.
With Star Wars: Andor Season 2 now complete, there’s a lot to talk about. From K2-SO finally showing up to Mon Mothma standing up to Emperor Palpatine, fans have many plot points and easter eggs to chew on. One big topic this season has been the relationship between Dedra Meero and Syril Karn. They might seem like an odd match at first, but this duo has made a splash with their shared Imperial beliefs and backgrounds. Then, of course, we have the sensational return of Ben Mendelsohn as the villainous Director Krennic. Mendelohn’s return has been nothing short of a revelation, with the actor slipping back into gear like he has never been away from the role.

After watching all twelve episodes, I can confidently say this series is a true gem of Star Wars brilliance. In my review of this week’s episodes, I stated: “This week’s episodes from the final season are truly exceptional. As the tension peaks, Tony Gilroy finally lets the action unfold in full force, giving us some of the finest moments in Star Wars history. Kyle Soller’s Syril Karn receives the absolution he has been seeking, while Dedra Meero feels the weight of her aspirations catching up to her. The Ghor learn the true cost of Rebellion, Mon Mothma makes the ultimate sacrifice, and Cassian encounters his future sidekick. What follows is an exceptional story arc that makes this series truly unmissable.”
