In tribute to the release of Mission: Impossible- The Final Reckoning, London has seen many of its famous landmarks lit up.
To celebrate the upcoming Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning release, Tom Cruise’s surprise appearance atop the BFI IMAX launched a dramatic series of projections lighting up London’s skyline ahead of the film’s release. The stunt paid tribute to the franchise’s long-standing connection to the capital, which has featured prominently across several films.
LOCATIONS
Iconic locations, including the Tate Modern. City Hall. County Hall and Somerset House became the canvas for a fast-paced cinematic spectacle. The projection piece was launched with an appearance from Tom Cruise himself. Standing atop the iconic BFI IMAX building, reminding fans that these epic stunts are meant to be seen on the big screen. The sequence celebrates the iconic theme music, the burning fuse, and Ethan Hunt himself sprinting through London’s streets. A defining image of the franchise.
The campaign honours both the films’ legacy and the city that helped shape them. Giving fans an immersive experience before watching the latest explosive chapter.
