THE ORIGINAL SERIES
Created by David Lynch and Mark Frost. The iconic seasons one and two of the series follow idiosyncratic FBI agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) as he investigates the murder of a young woman, Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee), in the even more idiosyncratic town of Twin Peaks. As the investigation progresses, several other mysteries and conspiracies, edging on the supernatural, are uncovered around the town. All linking back to Laura’s murder.
A LIMITED EVENT SERIES
“Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Series” is directed by David Lynch and consists of 18 episodes airing on SHOWTIME®. This series picks up 25 years after the shocking murder of homecoming queen Laura Palmer, which left the residents of the town in disbelief. David Lynch and Mark Frost, the creators of the original series, write and executive produce the new episodes, while Sabrina S. Sutherland serves as the executive producer.
