Discover what movies are trending on The Official Film Chart this week and enjoy home entertainment like never before.

Welcome to The Official Film Chart.

THE UK TOP TEN

This week, the chart sees two new entries hitting the placings. To make way for these newcomers, we must say farewell to A Fistful Of Dollars and Gladiator II. We also have a brand new number one title. What could it be? Time to grab those Voxels as we find out.

A MINECRAFT MOVIE PLAYS ITSELF INTO THE TOP SPOT!

A Minecraft Movie flies straight into the Official Film Chart at Number 1 this week. The Jared Hess-directed fantasy adventure comedy movie, based on Mojang Studios’ hit 2011 video game Minecraft, stars Jason Momoa as Garrett, Jack Black as Steve, Danielle Brooks as Dawn, Emma Myers as Natalie and Sebastian Hansen as Henry.

When struggling salesman Steve breaks into a mine and discovers the Orb of Dominance and the Earth Crystal, a mysterious portal opens and pulls four characters into the Overworld; a cubic world that requires imagination in abundance if they’re to escape.

Recently, A Minecraft Movie made Official Singles Chart history as Jack Black’s viral track Steve’s Lava Chicken became the shortest song ever to make the UK Top 40, with a total duration of just 34 seconds.
