EW has shared a new look at David Corenswet as the Man of Steel in James Gunn’s upcoming Superman film.
It seems like James Gunn’s Superman is everywhere you turn these days. The recently released second trailer delivered a treasure trove of new images, and the new character posters have been amazing. But today, EW upped the ante by sharing a new look at David Corenswet in his Man of Steel suit. The latest images reveal a battle-damaged Superman gazing up at something that could threaten every living thing on Earth, while Lex Luthor sports some heavy-duty snow goggles. Rounding out the images are fresh looks at Eve Teschmacher and the Engineer, as well as Clark Kent, Lois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen at the Daily Planet.

THE MAN OF STEEL RETURNS
James Gunn’s impressive cast features David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. They will be joined by Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, and Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho.

I don’t know about you, but James Gunn’s take on Superman looks absolutely epic. This film appears to be a goldmine of DC brilliance, and if Gunn can tap into the same magic that brought Guardians of the Galaxy to life, DC fans might be in for a serious treat. The DC Universe has been waiting for a breakout hit, and if there’s anyone who can pull it off, it’s James Gunn.
