Enterprise, still under the command of Captain Pike. They face the conclusion of season two’s harrowing encounter with the Gorn. But new life and civilisations await, including a villain that will test our characters’ grit and resolve. An exciting twist on classic Star Trek, season three takes characters both new and beloved to new heights. It dives into thrilling adventures involving faith, duty, romance, comedy, and mystery. The genres vary and are never before seen on any other Star Trek.

Sight Unseen follows Tess Avery, a top Homicide detective forced to quit the job she loves. She almost got her partner killed and was diagnosed as clinically blind. Haunted by the cases she left behind and reluctant to accept help, Tess uses an assistance app. This connects her with a professional seeing-eye guide 3,000 miles away. Sunny Patel becomes the unorthodox partner in Tess’s ear. He guides her via a micro-camera and cell connection, which allows Tess to pass as sighted. However, this advantage becomes a double-edged sword.

But Sunny has her own secret: an agrophobe who only leaves her apartment through the eyes of her clients, Sunny is hiding a violent crime in her past, which she hopes to solve someday. Sunny steers Tess through life’s obstacles and crimes, as the two challenge preconceptions about ability, trust, and where to draw the line. Inspired by one of the co-creators’ experiences with sight loss, Tess and Sunny bring a fresh perspective and unexpected thrills to the crime-solving genre.
