The Pete Davidson horror movie, The Home, will open the 2025 FrightFest before being released on digital download, DVD, and Blu-ray.
Signature Entertainment is excited to share the UK trailer for “The Home,” starring Pete Davidson. It will receive its UK Premiere as FrightFest 2025’s Opening Film. The film is directed by James DeMonaco and written by DeMonaco and Adam Cantor. As well as Pete Davidson, John Glover, and Bruce Altman also appear in the film. It tells the story of Max, a troubled man, who starts working at a retirement home. And realises its residents and caretakers harbour sinister secrets. As he investigates the building and its forbidden fourth floor, he starts to uncover connections to his own past and upbringing as a foster child.
THE PREMISE
Evil never gets old in this horror thriller from the creator of The Purge and the producer of Halloween. Rebellious twentysomething Max finds himself sentenced to community service at a quiet retirement home. The residents on the fourth floor are strictly off-limits, reportedly requiring “special care.” As his suspicions grow and he digs deeper, he uncovers a chilling secret that puts both the residents’ lives and his own in grave danger.
Starring Pete Davidson (The King of Staten Island). John Glover (Scrooged). Ethan Phillips (Inside Llewyn Davis) and Bruce Altman (Running Scared). Adam Cantor and James DeMonaco, the writers behind “The Purge,” created “The Home.” DeMonaco directs it.
