Yet again, A Minecraft Movie holds firm at the top of the chart tree.
WICKED IS STILL FLYING HIGH!
With the anticipation for the November sequel, Wicked: For Good building, the original Wicked flies to Number 2.
THUNDERBOLTS* STRUCK BY LIGHTENING!
Marvel makes its presence felt with Thunderbolts from Walt Disney Studios at Number 3, assembling a team of unlikely anti-heroes in a gritty twist on the superhero genre.
BRIDGET JONES IS HAPPY TO BE MOVING UP THE CHART!
Romantic comedy returns with a familiar face as Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy moves up one place at 4, marking the beloved character’s long-awaited comeback, distributed by Spirit Entertainment.
THE DOMINION IS OVER!
After returning and rising up the charts thanks to the latest sequel, Jurassic World: Rebirth, the previous film, Jurassic World: Dominion, begins its descent down the chart to Number 5.
THE AMATEUR ISN’T SO AMATEURISH AFTER ALL!
Espionage and intrigue heat up at Number 6 with The Amateur, a pulse-pounding thriller from Walt Disney Studios that has viewers on the edge of their seats as it becomes available to stream and download with home video.
NUMBER SEVEN WON’T BE ITS FINAL DESTINATION!
Horror fans aren’t left out as Final Destination Bloodlines is at Number 7, a chilling new chapter in the fate-tempting series, distributed by Warner Home Video.
THE ORIGINAL IS ALWAYS BEST!
The original Jurassic Park roars back into the top ten, T-Rex striding six places to Number 8.
IT’S A JURASSIC HATTRICK!
The dinosaurs make it a Jurassic Hattrick of chart places this week as Jurassic World returns to the chart, taking a significant bite out of Number 9.
SINNERS STILL ISN’T A SAINT!
Rounding out the chart at Number 10 is Sinners, another eerie addition from Warner Home Video, keeping suspense lovers gripped with its dark and twisted storyline.
GET KICKING WITH KARATE KID: LEGENDS!
This week’s top PVOD offering is the sequel, Karate Kid: Legends. The story follows Li (Ben Wang), a kung fu prodigy who, after moving to New York and confronting a local karate champion, receives help from his former master, Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) and karate sensei Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio). The film received mixed reviews upon its release earlier this summer, but it remains a worthy and enjoyable watch nonetheless. If you’re in the mood for a family martial arts movie with a good heart, rent it for £15.99 or buy it early for £19.99.
