This week sees the chart have a change around. Titles enter, and others leave. And this week, it is farewell to Minions: The Rise Of Gru, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore, and The Batman. But what are the new arrivals, and where in the chart have they entered? It’s time for us to find out.

MATILDA MAKES IT A MONTH AT THE TOP!

Stacking up a fourth consecutive week at Number 1 on the Official Film Chart is Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical. Marking its one month at the top, the film more than doubles the sales of its closest competition, and 60% of its sales this week were made up of digital download copies.

BLACK PANTHER DIGS ITS CLAWS IN AT NUMBER TWO!

Holding its place at Number 2 for a third week is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

THE CHART STARTS LIVING!

This week’s highest new entry is the British drama Living. Debuting at Number 3, Living stars Bill Nighy as a bureaucrat in 1950s London who, after receiving a fatal diagnosis, decides to live his life more fully.

MAVERICK TAKES A TUMBLE!

The brilliant Top Gun: Maverick falls back a place this week to land in fourth place.

Tom Cruise plays Capt. Pete “Maverick” Mitchell in Top Gun: Maverick from Paramount Pictures, Skydance, and Jerry Bruckheimer Films.

ELVIS ROCKS DOWN A PLACE!

The award-winning musical drama Elvis rocks down a place to round out the top five.

CASINO MAKES A BET AT NUMBER SIX!

Our second new entry of the week is the 1995 crime drama Casino (having been re-released across digital download), which enters the chart at number six. The movie features Robert De Niro, Sharon Stone, and Joe Pesci among its iconic cast.

BULLET TRAIN IS STILL IN THE NUMBER SEVEN STATION!

Brad Pitt’s action comedy Bullet Train remains stationed at number seven.

Dwayne Johnson and his DC movie, Black Adam, rises a place to number eight.

JURASSIC WORLD IS ALMOST EXTINCT!
