Hot Toys Announces New Figures From RoboCop 2

The future of law enforcement is back! RoboCop returns with new figures from Hot Toys!

As part of their Summer Showcase, Hot Toys has announced two new figures. The classic sci-fi film RoboCop 2 is today’s highlight. Fans will be able to obtain a brand-new figure of The Future of Law Enforcement, RoboCop himself, boasting an incredible likeness to Peter Weller. But if that isn’t enough to have you challenging Directive 4, RoboCain is available for the very first time!

ROBOCOP

“RoboCop” is regarded as a classic sci-fi action film beloved by many fans. The story follows RoboCop, a cyborg law enforcement officer who was once a human named Alex Murphy. After being brutally killed in the line of duty, he is transformed into a powerful, high-tech robot with advanced abilities. He possesses super strength, enhanced vision, and an unwavering commitment to uphold the law. In “RoboCop 2,” RoboCop continues to safeguard the citizens of Detroit. He confronts a new threat when a rogue OCP executive develops a more advanced and malevolent version of RoboCop, posing a significant challenge to his mission and the safety of the city.

Today, we are excited to introduce the RoboCop 2 1/6th scale RoboCop Collectible Figure, bringing this iconic cyborg law enforcement officer to life.

The figure features a helmeted head with interchangeable lower faces that capture RoboCop’s facial expressions, as well as a newly developed head sculpt with intricate mechanical details. It boasts meticulously crafted iridescent metallic blue and purple armor with black details, along with interchangeable battle-damaged helmet and chest armor, allowing fans to recreate a battle-damaged look. The armor also features a working thigh holster. The figure comes with interchangeable hands, including a pair of articulated hands, fists, hands for holding weapons and accessories, and a finger-pointing hand, enabling collectors to showcase him in various poses. Weapons and accessories include a rifle, pistols, a set of Nuke vials, a Nuke canister, and Cain’s brain with cervical spine. It also comes with a figure stand. A Special Edition, available only in selected markets, will include a specially designed RoboCop 2 metal collectible card with a display case.

ROBOCAIN

RoboCop is a classic sci-fi action film cherished by fans worldwide. While RoboCop himself is iconic, the film’s villains leave a lasting impression. In RoboCop 2, RoboCain emerges as a formidable cyborg, housing the brain of the deceased drug lord, Cain. This mechanical beast is heavily armed with powerful weaponry and cutting-edge technology, making it nearly invincible in battle and posing a major challenge to law enforcement. Today, Hot Toys is thrilled to bring this villainous robot to life with the stunning 1/6th scale RoboCain Diecast Collectible Figure.

This figure is incredibly detailed, showcasing a new mechanical design that boasts over 200 components and more than 100 points of articulation. The paint applications are beautifully enhanced with weathering effects, perfectly capturing its on-screen appearance. It features two interchangeable head and neck modules—one with an articulated head and another with light-up function. The figure showcases two larger mechanical arms alongside two smaller ones, each meticulously crafted to replicate the heavily armed appearance seen in the film. The impressive array of weaponry on the arms includes a six-barreled rotary chain gun, an extendable battering ram, articulated three-clawed hands, pliers, and a cutting torch, all designed with remarkable articulation. The waist is designed to rotate a full 360 degrees and features hydraulic rods that enable a liftable function. The chest features an openable hatch door that allows you to attach a rail, recreating the iconic scene where the door opens to load drug supplies. The shoulder armor features a detachable shoulder cannon and LED light-up function. Accessories included with the figure are a remote control and a specially designed figure stand.
